Expression: oral epithelium, outer enamel epithelium, inner enamel epithelium, stellate reticulum
No expression: stratum intermedia, basement membrane, dental papilla, dental sac

Late bell
(differentiation) stage
Expression: outer enamel epithelium, stratum intermedia, stellate reticulum, preameloblasts
No expression: basement membrane, dental papilla, dental sac, preodontoblasts

Protein is present in type I hemidesmosomes.
