Expression: dental mesenchyme No expression: oral epithelium, dental epithelium FGF8 (in beads) induced Pax9 expression in dental mesenchyme in tissue culture (Neubüser et al 1997). See expression of Fgf8. BMP4 (in beads) repressed induction of Pax9 by FGF8 (in beads) in dental mesenchyme in tissue culture (Neubüser et al 1997). See expression of Bmp4. No Pax9 expression detected in mandibular mesenchyme before embryonic day 10. At E10 Pax9 expression was detected laterally in the prospective sites of molar formation and in the medial nasal processes.. |
