Secretory stage
Expression: stratum intermedia, ameloblasts, odontoblasts
No expression: outer enamel epithelium, stellate reticulum, enamel, dental papilla, dental sac, predentin

In incisors CX43 was found in the late pre-odontoblast stage and gradually increased during odontoblast maturation..
